How much should I eat?

Everyone is different, and so are our hands. Cup them together and form a bowl. This is the approximate amount of food that you should eat at a sitting. Leave a little room for air and liquid. (if its soup or a liquid stew, you can forego the beverage.) This doesn’t mean a “bowlful” of vegetables is equal to one of chocolate cake (you’ll feel fuller on the vegetables!) but this is a good indication of what your own stomach can handle.  Beware of eating with your other senses- eyes (looks good) nose (smells good) touch (feels good.) Use those senses to enjoy it, not to decide quantity.
